Sheath Thermocouple in flexible design

Due to their properties, jacket thermocouples are used in almost all areas of industrial temperature measurement up to +1100 °C. The thermocouple is firmly embedded in heat-resistant magnesium oxide in the flexible jacket cable. The jacket material is made of heat-resistant stainless steel. The good heat transfer between jacket and thermocouple guarantees short response times in addition, the probe tip can be tapered to further shorten the response time.

The sensor is generally available in all thermal pairings (e.g. type N, S) and corresponds to class 1 according to DIN EN 60584. The connection cable is designed as a flexible thermocouple cable. Different cable types (e.g. silicone, Teflon, Kapton) as well as connection types are possible. Various variants are available for the connection types, for example as plugs or couplings in standard, mini or micro versions or with free connection ends..
